What is It?
Enjoy the convenience of storing your kayak or paddleboard with direct access to Great Peconic Bay or the Mattituck Inlet. Our storage racks are located just steps from the water at Veterans Beach, Peconic Bay Park, and at the Love Lane Boathouse on the Mattituck Inlet.
How much does a Kayak & Paddleboard Storage Permit cost?
$100 for the season, from May to November.
Who Qualifies to Purchase a Kayak & Paddleboard Permit?
Only residents and year-round renters of Mattituck and Laurel can purchase a Kayak & Paddleboard Storage Permit.
How long is the Kayak & Paddleboard Storage Permit good for?
A Kayak & Paddleboard Storage Permit is good for the beach season which commences 1 May. Boats need to be removed by 5 pm on 11 November. See our online application for a full list of rules.

If you'd rather pay by cash or check or confirm your residency with a tax bill, deed, or lease, you'll need to come inside the Park District's office, located at Veterans Memorial Park, during office hours, which are posted at the bottom of the website..
